Mya Pfeifer
I graduated in the class of 2022 from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a major in public relations and a minor in political science from the Maxwell School of Citizenship. I am now employed by CJ Affiliates on the new CJ Influence team as an Influencer Relations Specialist.
During my time at Syracuse, I held various leadership positions, including Executive Director, for OttoTHON (Syracuse University’s Dance Marathon). I was also a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and Alpha Xi Delta women’s fraternity. Through my experience both in and out of the classroom, I have developed skills in social media and campaign management, public relations and AP style writing, graphic design, and social media analytics and optimization.
Mission Statement: Maya Angelou said it best: “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style”. I’m excited for the opportunity to thrive in my first full-time position, and I can guarantee that, in addition to my professional skills, I will bring passion, compassion, humor and style into everything I do.

- Humility – I believe in letting your work and accomplishments speak for themselves. I want to be sure I truly earn every opportunity that comes my way.
- Passion – Work and life are far more meaningful when everything you do is driven by a fiery passion.
- Curiosity – I never want to stop learning. After graduation, I plan to remain curious because learning new things is an enriching experience that helps to better understand the world around me.
